Vermoedelijk weten degenen tegen wie het onderstaande citaat van Antiwar-columnist Doug Bandow er niet op te antwoorden. Het ziet er naar uit dat het parlement in de VS vergeven is van de halvegaren die zeker weten dat een bijzonder persoon, geheten God, iedere zandkorrel in een land dat Israel heet aan zijn uitverkoren volk heeft toegezegd. Er is destijds wel over de Lijst-Pim Fortuyn gezegd dat het een "gesticht" was. Maar vergeleken bij de Repudemocraten van de VS moet het enorm meevallen.
